What are the costs related to attending Leaders Hall?


The delegate is responsible for accommodations and transportation - although arrangements made through Leaders' Concierge will allow delegates to take advantage of arrangements made to minimize these costs. The delegate fee for the conference will be $525 ($475 for payment made prior to May 27, 2011). The delegate fee includes all sessions, materials, meals and events.

Where do I send my delegate fee payment?


Payment for delegate fees can be made to The Students' Union, University of Calgary and sent to the attention of Richard Fung; Reference-Leaders Hall. Mailing address is: 251 MacEwan Student Centre, 2500 University Drive NW, Calgary, Alberta, T2N1N4. The delegate is responsible for accommodations and transportation costs.

What about accommodations?

Leaders Hall has arranged accommodations through University of Calgary's Hotel Alma at Yamnuska Hall. Opened in 2011, Yamnuska Hall is the newest of the University's seasonal accommodations offerings.


What are some of the amenities of the hotel?

Units included individual bedrooms with a double bed, desk and dresser/hutch; the unit has a shared washroom, mini fridge, sink, and microwave.  As a part of the registration process delegates will be given an opportunity to choose a preferred roommate. 

What are the accomodation costs?


Delegates accommodation pricing is based on shared arrangements.  The costs for accommodations at the conference hotel are approx. $60 per night per delegate for occupancy in 2- bedroom and 3 - bedroom units.


What about meals?


Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the registration fee.  So that we can make the appropriate arrangements we ask that you let us know of any dietary needs or restrictions at the time of registration.


Is there any assistance with travel arrangements?


The Leaders’ Concierge would be happy to assist with cost effective travel for you in collaboration with our Leaders Hall consultant, Timbuktu Travel.


What if I have personal needs?


It is the goal of Leaders Hall to make this an enjoyable and engaging experience for every delegate.  The Leaders' Concierge is available to assist you before and during your time at Leaders Hall.  All requests will be attended to in a professional and confidential manner.


Where will the sessions be held?


Facilities for all sessions have been generously provided by the The University of Calgary Students' Union and the SAIT Students' Association.


What to bring?

Daily dress is business casual, also there is an evening banquet during the conference. You will require active wear if you intend to take part in the beach volleyball event.
